Poddy Paint aircraft blue metal top coat paint has been designed with the user in mind along with providing a tough industrial finish. It is fast drying even in very low temperatures. In hot weather conditions, use a small amount of Poddy Paint thinners to slow down the fast drying process. It has a secret formula which makes it scratch resistant giving it a longer lasting life.
The paint can be applied directly onto an already painted surface (Always test in a small area first as old paints can vary.) or it can be applied to bear metal too. Although it is recommended to apply a Poddy Paint primer first which will provide a stronger adhesion and will assist to protect the top coat from rust. Compared to one coat systems the Poddy Paint system will have a longer lasting finish saving time in re-painting.
The paint is lead chromate and zinc free providing lower odours and safer for the user compared to many industrial paints. Although solvent based, when it is fully cured it is not harmful to marine/aquatic life making it ideal for projects relating to water ways and boating.
